Representatives from church-based counselling services are invited to meet on a quarterly basis confidentially to discuss key issues, receive peer support, share resources, good practice and training. The Forum will facilitate joint events and host meetings between churches and mental health services. The aim of this initiative is: to provide a network of support, to reduce counsellors/services working in isolation, to create a referral network and to ensure all counselling services are operating at the required ethical standards.
If you fulfil the criteria and are a member of a (Christian) church-based counselling service, and would like more information about the Forum please contact the Sozo Therapeuo email at email@example.com.
A consultation service is available on request to churches who wish to set up a counselling service within their church. For further information contact the team at firstname.lastname@example.org .
